OLYMPIA, Wash. – An iconic voice of country music is making an appearance in Washington soon. Dolly Parton will visit on August 15 to help celebrate the Imagination Library in Olympia. She'll take part in a fireside chat and small performance. The event is invite-only but will be streamed live on TVW starting at 2:30 pm. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library opened in Washington last year to share books with young kids across the state. More than 65,000 children are enrolled and receive one free book from the library every month up to age five.
